In a nutshell, my move out west sparked an obsession with Route 66 that left me wanting to see more. Mix that with a photojournalism degree and here we are!

The Roadside Tourist is a road-trip-inspired photo blog for people who have a taste for nostalgia, the open road, and quirky road stops. I mean, if you aren’t pulling over to see the world’s largest ball of yarn, are you really even road-tripping?
